Mintz’s Los Angeles office is expanding within Century Plaza Towers. The firm is nearly doubling its square footage, taking 11,500 square feet on the building’s 31st floor to accommodate the growing team of attorneys.

Mintz is pleased to announce that Brian Lam has been named a Fellow of Information Privacy by the International Association of Privacy Professionals, a global community that helps practitioners develop and advance their careers and organizations manage and protect their data.

In the annual “Best Law Firms” rankings, released by U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers, Mintz has been named a top tier national firm in nine practice areas. Additionally, thirty-five of the firm’s practice areas received a tier one regional ranking.

Mintz advised GPB Capital on its acquisition of a majority equity stake in Westwood, Massachusetts-based Prime Motor Group. The acquisition by Capstone Automotive Group, an affiliate of GPB, expands the group’s footprint throughout New England.

Mintz is pleased to announce that Jennifer Kiely has been named Co-Head of the firm’s Real Estate Section. Ms. Kiely is a Member of the firm based in the Boston office, representing clients in complex real estate matters.
