  • The Bermuda Form: Can ARIAS Disrupt the Traditional Model?

  • Privilege and its Perils: Insights and Strategies for Addressing Privilege Issues in Arbitrations

While one of ARIAS’ core missions will always be to ensure the best and most efficient use of arbitration in reinsurance disputes, there are a vast number of direct insurance disputes – more specifically, disputes between policyholder and insurer – that ARIAS could potentially play a key role in.

This conference assembles some of the most knowledgeable clients and counsel – from both the policyholder and insurer perspective – to discuss how ARIAS can best tailor its unparalleled expertise in dispute resolution to insurance coverage disputes.  Panels will include presentations from leading policyholder counsel and clients at insurers who supervise billions of dollars of direct coverage, as well as sessions on Bermuda Form arbitrations and captive reinsurance disputes.

Along with an emphasis on direct insurance disputes, this conference will also assess the state of reinsurance disputes today, including a distinguished panel of speakers from those clients most active in the reinsurance disputes, as well as numerous break-out sessions addressing recent case law on insurance allocation and guidance on evidentiary and discovery issues that you are highly likely to encounter in your next reinsurance arbitration.
