Jackson concentrates his practice on patent prosecution, with a focus on mechanical engineering and chemical engineering. He has experience handling a range of matters for Fortune 500 companies, including drafting and filing patent applications, preparing office action responses, conducting searches for prior art, and analyzing patent validity. Additionally, Jackson advises clients on IP strategy across industries such as oil and gas, chemical processing, and advanced mechanical systems.
Prior to joining Mintz, he practiced as an associate at a firm specializing in IP matters, where he supported US and international clients in all stages of patent prosecution.
Jackson earned his JD from the University of Houston Law Center, where he was an articles editor of the Houston Journal of International Law. Prior to law school, he earned a BS in chemical engineering from Michigan State University.
He is based in the Boston office.
