Sai concentrates his practice on technology transactions, intellectual property, and regulatory matters for life sciences and health care clients. He advises on technology licensing, IP due diligence, and strategic transactions, as well as on regulatory compliance and enforcement matters, including those involving FDA, HIPAA, and other federal and state health care laws. 

Sai also has experience representing pharmacy-related businesses in investigations, audits, and disciplinary proceedings.

Prior to working at Mintz, Sai was an associate in the technology transactions practice at a large business and technology law firm, where he drafted and negotiated commercial and clinical agreements for life sciences companies and advised on IP strategy. He also served as a lecturer and course coordinator in pharmacy law at the University of Southern California, where he taught regulatory and compliance concepts to pharmacy students.

Sai earned his JD, cum laude, from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where he was a commencement speaker and an Intellectual Property & High Technology Consortium Fellowship designee. Prior to law school, he earned a doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Southern California and a BA, with honors, from Pitzer College.
