Date: March 22, 2021

Location: Virtual Event

IAM will be hosting more than 20 individual interactive digital sessions designed to facilitate the exchange of information and insight benchmarking and the sharing of best practices in key areas of strategic IP value creation.

Mintz Member Mike Renaud will be moderating an open discussion forum entitled, “Navigating the turbulent global SEP landscape.”  One of the hottest debates of 2020 centered around SEPs and attempts to find a concrete legal framework for their licensing and, if necessary, their enforcement. This session will explore the current state of play in key jurisdictions and how things are likely to develop.

Mintz Member Adam Samansky will be speaking on a panel entitled, "Lessons learned from 2020: improving best practice and reviewing necessary change." In 2020, IP departments reacted swiftly to adapt to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic in order to ensure ‘business as usual’. Although many solutions were driven by necessity, new ways of working have emerged. In this session, industry experts will weigh up which changes are temporary and which innovations are here to stay.
