FDA Guidelines Put Focus on Medical Cybersecurity
Of Counsel Benjamin Zegarelli was quoted in a Business Insurance article discussing the impact of new FDA guidelines focused on medical cybersecurity.
Benjamin said, “Manufacturers will have to consider cybersecurity for the full lifecycle of their products, from initial distribution through to the end of product life.” Many manufacturers are already doing what the FDA guidance calls for, “but it helps the industry to understand the FDA’s expectations when they are designing new medical devices.”
