Mintz Attorneys Selected as Panel Moderators During 2025 BIO International Convention

Corporate & Securities Member Matthew Gardella was selected to moderate a panel discussion at the upcoming 2025 BIO International Convention in Boston. Matt’s June 19th panel session entitled “Biotech M&A 2025: What’s Driving Deal-Making in The New Environment,” examines the shifting landscape of biotech M&A, exploring how market volatility, limited IPO opportunities, and increased shareholder activism are influencing deal-making in 2025.

Panelists include William Fiske, Head of M&A and Contested Situations, Georgeson LLC; Dan P. Moore, Founding Partner, Collected Strategies; Janet Raimondo, JD, Global Head Legal Transactions, Novartis; and Frank Fekete , Managing Director,, Centerview Partners LLC.

On June 16, Intellectual Property Partner Anthony de Fazekas will be moderating a panel session at a special event hosted by Clinical Trials Ontario, Life Sciences Ontario, and OBIO titled “The AI Opportunity: Revolutionizing Clinical Trials, Transforming Healthcare.” Designed for leaders in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, CROs, and business and healthcare innovators, this event will highlight the strength of Canada’s research ecosystem and its role in advancing the future of global healthcare. The panel will examine how artificial intelligence is reshaping clinical trials and the broader healthcare landscape.
