Mintz Names Francis J. Earley Managing Member of New York Office
New York – Mintz announces the appointment of Francis (Frank) Earley as Managing Member of its New York office. A seasoned litigator, Frank brings extensive experience handling complex commercial and securities disputes. He succeeds Stephen (Steve) Gulotta, who, after successfully leading the office for 17 years, will now focus full time on his role as Member in the firm’s Corporate & Securities Practice based in New York.
“Frank is an exceptional litigator and trusted advisor with a long record of success at Mintz,” said Bob Bodian, Managing Member of Mintz. “He has earned the confidence of clients and colleagues alike and is well positioned to build on the strong foundation established by Steve. We are deeply grateful to Steve for his leadership and contributions, and confident that Frank will continue that legacy as he leads the New York office into its next chapter.”
Frank is a seasoned litigator with more than 25 years of experience representing public and private companies, as well as directors and officers, in securities and complex commercial litigation. He regularly handles class actions, derivative suits, and disputes arising from mergers and acquisitions, fiduciary duty claims, and corporate governance matters.
A co-founder of Mintz’s Distressed Debt & Claims Trading Practice, Frank also advises clients in regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings, including matters before the SEC and FINRA. He has substantial experience litigating in state and federal courts nationwide and arbitrating matters before FINRA, the American Arbitration Association, and JAMS.
“I am honored to step into this role and grateful for the strength and momentum Steve has built,” said Frank. “Mintz has extraordinary talent in New York, and I look forward to working with my colleagues to continue serving our clients and advancing the priorities of the office and the firm.”
“It has been a privilege to lead the New York office, and I am confident that Frank is the right leader to build on its success,” said Steve.
