Two Mintz Members Featured Among Speakers at Annual Association of Corporate Counsel Meeting

Two Mintz Members are among the featured panelists at the 2018 Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Annual Meeting. The event is taking place October 21-24 in Austin, TX.

Brent Henry, a Member in the firm’s Health Law practice, will address the issue of “Navigating the Legal Minefields of the Digital Health Revolution.” The panel will explore the range of regulatory oversight related to the development, application, marketing and use of digital health products by various governmental agencies, as well as the employee/employer privacy concerns raised by their deployment. Other speakers will include in-house counsel from GE Healthcare and the Cleveland Clinic, and a physician expert on digital health from Partners HealthCare.

Dan Bagliebter, a Corporate and Securities Member, will speak on “Hot Topics in U.S. Securities Law.” The panel will address the increasingly complex securities laws U.S. companies find themselves faced with in spite of a general push from Washington, D.C. for deregulation. Other speakers will include in-house counsel from NetScout Sytems, Inc., Synologic, Inc., and Terex Corporation.

The Association of Corporate Counsel is the in-house bar association for professional corporate counsel who practice in legal departments globally. The ACC’s Annual Meeting brings together lawyers from around the world to explore the latest developments affecting the corporate counsel profession.
