Mintz has been chosen to be the exclusive legal mentor for teams competing for the 2017 Hult Prize, the world’s largest social entrepreneurial competition. The Hult Prize Foundation is a start-up accelerator and enabler for budding young social entrepreneurs.

Mintz is expanding the firm’s Los Angeles office with the addition of a team of litigators led by Ralph A. Campillo and Arameh Zargham O’Boyle, joining as Members in the firm’s Litigation Practice. Associates Christopher Norton and Nicholas Weiss join them.

Mintz's San Francisco office continues its expansion with the addition of Greg Chin, who joins as a Member in the firm’s Corporate and Securities Practice. Mr. Chin is the third recent high-profile addition to the firm’s growing San Francisco office.

The Political Asylum/Immigration Representation (PAIR) Project has awarded Mintz with the 2017 Pro Bono Law Firm Award. Mintz was honored for its many years of service on PAIR asylum cases.

Mintz achieved another victory for client CrossFit, Inc. in an ongoing dispute against the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). In this latest victory, the Court imposed harsh evidentiary, issue, and monetary sanctions against the NSCA.
