Fatima concentrates her practice on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity transactions, and general corporate matters. She has experience supporting buy-side and sell-side transactions and handling all phases of the deal lifecycle, including due diligence, negotiation, and closing. Additionally, Fatima leads diligence efforts, coordinates with specialist teams, and reviews and marks up key transaction documents, including purchase agreements, equity commitment letters, and related ancillary materials.

Prior to joining Mintz, Fatima was an associate at a global law firm, where she worked on complex, high-volume M&A transactions. She also served as a summer associate in the same practice and at another firm, where she supported litigation matters and worked on pro bono international law projects.

Earlier in her career, Fatima worked as a community organizer in Brooklyn, New York, where she supported constituent services and led community outreach initiatives. She also worked as a case management assistant at the International Chamber of Commerce, where she administered commercial arbitration cases, coordinated with international parties, and prepared case materials.

She earned her JD from Boston University School of Law, where she received Dean’s Awards in contracts and property, and a BA, cum laude, in political science from Hunter College.
