Joseph concentrates his practice on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and joint ventures. He has experience handling a range of complex real estate matters involving office, retail, industrial, mixed-use, data centers, and single-family residential portfolios. Additionally, Joseph has significant experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, joint venture agreements, and commercial leases, and managing transactions on behalf of institutional investors, developers, lenders, and operators.
Prior to joining Mintz, Joseph served as vice president and general counsel of an online marketplace company, where he was an equity partner and member of the executive team. As the sole in-house counsel, he advised on strategy, growth initiatives, acquisitions, and financing matters. Joseph also practiced at leading international law firms, where he represented clients in a broad range of high-value real estate transactions and financings.
Joseph earned his JD from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA, magna cum laude, in government, strategy, and diplomacy from Reichman University.
