Katherine concentrates her practice on litigation, with a background in intellectual property disputes, including patent litigation involving life sciences technologies. She has experience across all stages of litigation, including drafting dispositive and evidentiary motions, developing infringement and invalidity positions, preparing fact and expert witnesses, and supporting trial teams in federal court.

Prior to joining Mintz, Katherine practiced at a Boston‑based law firm, where she represented patent holders in matters arising under the Biologics Price Competition and Innovation Act and the Hatch‑Waxman Act. Her experience also includes representing clients in complex commercial, insurance, and reinsurance disputes, and advising universities and education nonprofits in connection with third‑party subpoenas in federal antitrust litigation.

Katherine earned her JD from Boston University School of Law, where she served as a student attorney in the Access to Justice Clinic. She was Co‑President of First Generation Professionals and served on the board of the Women of Color Collaborative. Prior to law school, she earned a BA in history from Williams College.

She is based in the Boston office.
