We are looking for an associate to join our San Diego office as part of Mintz Levin’s highly-regarded bankruptcy and creditor rights litigation team. Our nationally-recognized Bankruptcy and Restructuring group offers challenging work for sophisticated clients in an entrepreneurial and collegial environment. Our associates gain valuable experience appearing in courts around California and throughout the country, and are given the opportunity to work closely with senior lawyers at the firm on high-stakes litigation and restructuring transactions.

Candidates should have a solid litigation skill set, including excellent research and writing skills.  Candidates should also have a strong desire to take on all aspects of creditor rights and bankruptcy-related litigation, including court appearances and depositions, and to support senior attorneys with restructuring transactions both in and out of court.  Our associates work with a wide variety of firm clients in all aspects of commercial bankruptcy and creditor rights law, including secured and unsecured creditors, trustees, chapter 11 debtors, parties in creditor rights and bankruptcy-related litigation, and companies and other stakeholders in out-of-court restructurings.

The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of large or mid-sized law firm experience with commercial bankruptcy and creditor rights litigation, a strong academic background, and excellent communication and writing skills.
