LES USA-Canada 2025 Annual Meeting

Mintz is proud to participate in the Licensing Executives Society (LES) 2025 Annual Meeting, taking place in Boston from October 19–22. Our attorneys are engaged across multiple panels, contributing thought leadership on key issues shaping the life sciences and intellectual property landscapes.

Adam Falconi, Mintz attorney and Chair of the Life Sciences Sector for LES, will speak on two panels:

• LES Life Sciences Global Royalty Rate and Deal Terms Survey
  This session will present exclusive findings from LES’ 2024 survey, offering insights into licensing benchmarks such as royalty structures, milestone payments, and sublicensing terms. Attendees will also gain an understanding of the survey methodology and how to apply the data to evaluate and structure licensing deals.
• Doing Life Sciences Deals in 2025 – Licensing, M&A, and More
  A dynamic discussion featuring advisors and biopharma executives, this panel will explore how licensing conversations often lead to acquisitions. Topics will include timing, deal structure, and stakeholder engagement in both licensing and M&A transactions.

Additionally, Adam Rizk, Member of Mintz, will speak on the panel:

• Obtaining Injunctive Relief: The ITC, UPC, and Federal District Court
  This session will compare how patent holders pursue injunctions across various legal venues, examining procedural requirements, strategic considerations, and practical implications in each forum.
