Mintz Seeks ‘Creative’ Life Sciences Enforcement Solutions

Managing IP featured the one-year anniversary of Life Science Litigation Practice Chair and Patent Litigation Practice Co-chair Sige Gutman and his team joining Mintz, highlighting the growth of the firm’s Life Sciences Litigation Practice. In the article, Sige discusses the group’s strategic approach, emphasizing the importance of cross-disciplinary knowledge and creative problem-solving.

He says, "To develop comprehensive enforcement strategies for clients with different problems, you have to be well-versed in different areas of life sciences. Litigation is one goal, but I view litigation as being broader than just district court litigation. It’s really about solving problems in an adversarial context and there may be different solutions you can bring to bear."

The feature also highlights Mintz’s sophisticated ITC practice, led by Intellectual Property Division Chair Michael Renaud, and outlines Sige’s collaborative plans for continued success.
