Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) named Michael Renaud to its 2025 edition of the IAM Global Leaders Guide, a supplement to the IAM Patent 1000. To qualify for inclusion in the IAM Global Leaders Guide, individuals must be ranked in the gold tier of the IAM Patent 1000, which identifies the top law and attorney firms and individuals in the world’s most significant patent jurisdictions.

Mintz DC office Managing Member Michelle N. Lipkowitz was selected as the 2024 “DC Managing Partner of the Year” by The National Law Journal. The award recognizes “business leadership prowess” and highlights “notable initiatives and successes around law firm management,” according to the publication. 

Mintz attorneys Ian Hammel and Eric Blythe received a “Turnaround of the Year” award from the Minnesota Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA). 

Mintz has been recognized by The Globe and Mail as one of Canada’s Best Law Firms for 2025, gaining distinction in the “Private Equity and Investments” category specifically. This is the second consecutive year the firm has been included on this list.

A team of Mintz attorneys won a motion for summary judgment for client Horizon Tower in its case against Park County, Wyoming.
