Kate is a Corporate Associate whose practice focuses on mergers & acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and general corporate matters. She works with clients across a variety of industries, including financial services and technology. Kate originally joined Mintz as a Summer Associate.
Prior to working at Mintz, Kate gained hands-on experience in securities law compliance and enforcement through multiple legal externships in the financial services industry.
Kate earned her JD, magna cum laude, from Boston University School of Law, where she graduated in the top 3% of her class and received multiple Dean’s Awards for academic excellence. Prior to law school, she earned a BA, summa cum laude, from Wake Forest University.
Kate is based in the Boston office.

The private placement included upfront gross proceeds of approximately $40.0 million in common stock (or pre-funded warrants in lieu thereof) and accompanying common warrants, and up to an additional $52.2 million in gross proceeds if the common warrants are exercised for cash, subject to stockholder approval to increase the number of authorized shares of common stock.
