Mintz Represents Needham & Company in $315 Million IPO of AI and AI Infrastructure-Focused Berto Acquisition Corp. II
Mintz advised Needham & Company, LLC, as representative of the underwriters, in connection with the $315 million initial public offering (IPO) of Berto Acquisition Corp. II, a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC).
Berto Acquisition Corp. II was founded by prominent technology executive Harry You, who serves on the board of Broadcom Inc. The company intends to focus on target businesses in artificial intelligence (AI) and the AI infrastructure and supply chain ecosystem, including mission critical components, data, energy, and infrastructure businesses enabling the scaling of AI. This includes, but is not limited to, advanced nuclear technologies, such as small modular reactor developers, supporting the growing power demands of AI datacenters, as well as other cutting edge technology companies positioned to benefit from long term secular growth trends.
SPACs continue to represent a meaningful segment of the IPO market, and this transaction underscores Mintz’s ongoing strength in advising clients on complex and evolving capital markets transactions.
