Sam is an intellectual property attorney whose practice focuses on patent litigation in the federal district courts. He works with clients in a variety of industries, including life sciences and technology. Sam originally joined Mintz as a Summer Associate.
Prior to working at Mintz, Sam gained hands-on experience through a judicial internship with the Honorable Patti B. Saris in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts, where he drafted bench memoranda and assisted with opinions on complex patent and administrative law issues.
Sam earned his JD from Northeastern University School of Law, where he was an associate editor of the Northeastern University Law Review and received a full-tuition merit scholarship. Prior to law school, he earned a BS and a BA, magna cum laude, from Boston University.
Sam is based in the Boston office.
