Sophia is a corporate attorney whose practice focuses on transactional and corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, funds, debt financing, and general corporate governance. She advises clients on a range of corporate matters and works with businesses throughout the corporate life cycle.
Sophia began her career at Mintz as a Law Clerk before becoming an Associate. Prior to that, she gained experience with corporate advisory and business matters through the summer associate program at a Delaware law firm. She also served as a legal intern with the Internal Revenue Service's Office of Chief Counsel, where she researched federal tax issues and prepared legal memoranda on matters involving whistleblowers, qualified offers, closing agreements, and other procedural tax issues.
Sophia earned her JD, magna cum laude, from Washington University School of Law, where she was an articles editor of the Washington University Jurisprudence Review. Prior to law school, she earned a BA, summa cum laude, in philosophy and German from DePauw University.
