Wuqi focuses her practice on complex cross-border merger & acquisition transactions, particularly foreign direct investment in China, the United States, and Europe, and commercial real estate development and investment in China, the United States, and the European Union. She has experience with deal structuring, negotiating a broad range of real estate transaction agreements, and handling due diligence. Wuqi works with companies across a variety of industries, including real estate.
Prior to joining Mintz, Wuqi was an associate in the Shanghai office of a global law firm based in Beijing, where she primarily worked on cross-border deals and investments. Earlier, she was an associate in the London office and a summer associate in the New York office of an international law firm.
During law school, Wuqi served as a legal intern for the New York City Housing Development Corporation, where she worked on the financing and construction of projects for affordable housing in the greater New York metropolitan area.
