Mintz advised Smartcar, a connected-vehicle platform, in its sale to Everyday Electric (formerly known as Renew Home).

Smartcar allows drivers to connect their vehicles with energy and mobility companies without additional hardware. The acquisition of Smartcar will extend Everyday Electric’s energy solutions beyond thermostats and HVAC Systems to a whole-home virtual power plant.
