Daily Journal Recognizes Mintz Member Micha Danzig as 2020 Top Labor & Employment Lawyer

Mintz is pleased to share that Member Micha “Mitch” Danzig has been selected as one of the Daily Journal’s 2020 Top Labor & Employment Lawyers in California, which honors leading California attorneys specializing in labor and/or employment law. In connection with this recognition, Mr. Danzig was profiled in a special supplement published on July 15.

Mr. Danzig is a versatile attorney who litigates employment, complex-commercial, and trade secret disputes and counsels clients on matters in these areas. Companies rely on his representation in court and before both state and federal agencies, including the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, U.S. Department of Justice, and similar California agencies. Mr. Danzig is well versed when it comes to advising clients on the unique employment laws of California, such as the Private Attorney General Act of 2004 and the recently amended California Fair Pay Act. He also advises clients on federal laws including the Fair Labor Standards Act and Federal Defend Trade Secrets Act.

In Mr. Danzig’s “Top Labor & Employment Lawyers” profile, the Daily Journal highlighted two of his recent and significant client victories: Mr. Danzig achieved a favorable outcome for his client Silanna Semiconductor North America, Inc., a San Diego-based manufacturer and distributor of high-voltage power-conversion systems, and four of the company’s employees, in a non-compete and trade secret lawsuit; and separately, Mr. Danzig achieved an important victory for his clients Alphatec Holdings, Inc., a medical device company dedicated to revolutionizing the approach to spine surgery, and its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Patrick Miles, in a non-compete lawsuit.
