Mintz advised Andromeda Robotics on its AU$23 million Series A capital raise, led by San Francisco’s Forerunner Ventures.

Andromeda manufactures companion robots which offer significant support to aged care residents and facilities. The robots engage in conversations, lead group activities, and forge connections in multiple languages. The investment will allow the company to increase its manufacturing footprint and establish a presence in the United States.

The Mintz team included Members Scott Dunberg and Benjamin Ferrucci and Associates William Morrow and Sherwet Witherington. Mintz collaborated with Andromeda’s Australian counsel, Hamilton Locke, on the Australian aspects of the financing, including Partners Cristín McCoy and Seema Sandhu, and Lawyers Zane O’Neill, Crystal Xu, and Michael Kallidis.
