Susan Berson and Brent Henry Recognized as Health Care Trailblazers by the National Law Journal

Thirteen Mintz attorneys have been named to Lawdragon’s 2025 “Leading Litigators in America.” The list honors the “best litigators the US has to offer – in antitrust, intellectual property, white collar and investigations, securities and corporate governance litigation, and a vast array of class actions, product liability and other complex civil litigation,” according to the publication. 

Mintz Member Esteban Morales was named a 2024 “Lawyer on the Fast Track” by The Recorder in its 2024 California Legal Awards. The award recognizes “the next generation of legal leaders under the age of 40.”

Of Counsel Michelle Capezza was quoted by Fiduciary News in an article about 401k plan sponsors changing service providers, and why now might be a good time to consider any such changes. 

Mintz announced that its DC office Managing Member Michelle N. Lipkowitz has been named a finalist for The National Law Journal’s inaugural “DC Managing Partner of the Year” award. The award recognizes “business leadership prowess” and highlights “notable initiatives and successes around law firm management,” according to the publication. The winner will be announced at an awards dinner on October 24. 

Mintz received two awards at LMG’s 2024 “Life Sciences Americas Awards” which recognize the region’s “most distinguished practitioners and their firms for their exemplary work in the Life Sciences legal practice over the past twelve months.” The firm earned the “Impact Deal of the Year” for its role advising on a joint venture between ITM Isotope Technologies Munich SE (ITM) and Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL), while Associate Adam Falconi was named a “Canada Rising Star.”

Following his participation on a panel at Bisnow’s DICE: South conference, Member Jeffrey Moerdler was quoted in a Bisnow article about the AI-driven boom in data center development and the challenges early-stage AI companies face in securing these deals. The article details a $5B data center development deal with AI cloud firm CoreWeave and reveals that established developers don’t consider the firm a risky investment as opposed to other AI startups.
