Alex advises public and private companies, investment banks, infrastructure investors, and other market participants on complex securities, capital markets, and strategic transactions. He is particularly known for helping clients navigate cross-border financings and corporate transactions between Canada and the United States, including capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, stock exchange listings, and public company matters.

Alex regularly represents issuers, underwriters, sponsors, and investors in accessing Canadian and US capital markets and navigating the requirements of major North American exchanges. He also provides strategic guidance on corporate governance, disclosure obligations, commercial arrangements, and securities law compliance, helping clients execute transactions efficiently across jurisdictions.

He counsels clients operating across the digital infrastructure ecosystem, including data center developers, operators, investors, and technology companies on capital formation, corporate transactions, strategic investments, and other financing matters supporting the development and expansion of critical infrastructure assets.

Alex also advises clients in the natural resources sector and has significant experience with financings involving mining and mining-related companies. His clients span a range of innovative and high-growth sectors, including technology, digital infrastructure, natural resources, life sciences, cryptocurrency and blockchain, and food and beverage.
