Emily Dougherty is a corporate Associate whose practice concentrates on licensing transactions, corporate and securities law, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. She works with public and private companies across a variety of industries, with a particular focus on life sciences. Emily originally joined Mintz as a Summer Associate.
Prior to working at Mintz, Emily gained hands-on experience as a law clerk at a biotechnology company, where she supported in-house counsel on a range of legal matters. Before transitioning to law, Emily worked in the life sciences industry for three years, holding roles in CMO management and research.
Emily earned her JD from Boston University School of Law, where she developed a strong foundation in corporate and transactional law. Before that, she graduated from Colby College, where she received a BA in Chemistry and Spanish.
She is based in the Boston office.
