Jennifer concentrates her practice on insolvency and restructuring matters, representing clients in Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings. She advises debtors, creditors, and other stakeholders on strategic planning and execution of bankruptcy filings, including drafting first-day motions, disclosure statements, and related case materials. Jennifer also conducts independent investigations for special committees of boards of directors, analyzing related-party transactions and identifying potential estate claims.

Prior to joining Mintz, Jennifer was an insolvency and restructuring associate in the New York office of an international law firm, where she handled a broad range of restructuring matters. She has experience advising DIP lenders, preparing restructuring support agreements and transaction documents, and representing private equity sponsors in assignments for the benefit of creditors. She has also managed day-to-day case administration for multiple active matters, including hearing preparation, deposition support, and client communications.

Jennifer earned her JD from St. John’s University School of Law, where she was an articles and notes editor of the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review and received a full tuition scholarship based on merit. Prior to law school, she earned a BA in economics from Georgetown University.

She is based in the New York office.
