
Katie focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, insurance coverage disputes, construction law, real estate litigation, and appellate matters. She has experience drafting complaints and motions, conducting legal research, and assisting with depositions and discovery.
Katie is also involved with the Construction Litigation practice group, working with clients in the public and private sectors on a range of construction related issues in all stages of litigation, arbitration, and mediation. She has experience managing discovery, conducting research on experts, and drafting briefs. In her practice, she represents owners and contractors, both large and small, in mediation and arbitration concerning construction and design defects.
While earning her JD at BC Law, Katie participated in the school’s Public Interest Designation Program and earned a Certificate of Pro Bono Excellence. She also had externships in the Office of the Solicitor at the US Department of Labor and the Fair Labor Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office. Additionally, she served as a student attorney in BC Law’s Civil Rights Clinic and its Immigration Clinic and worked in the Office of Massachusetts State Senator Joan Lovely as part of a Rappaport Fellowship in Law and Public Policy. Prior to law school, Katie worked on vegetable farms in Massachusetts and was employed as a farm manager for over five years. Katie was a Summer Associate at Mintz in 2023.
