Mike Renaud to Discuss how the UPC is Reshaping Global Patent Litigation Strategies at IPBC Global 2025

Mintz Intellectual Property Division Chair Michael Renaud will participate in a panel discussion about the Unified Patent Court (UPC) at the Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) IPBC Global 2025 in Boston on June 10. 

The session, entitled “The UPC at Full Throttle,” will explore the following topics:

  • How the UPC is reshaping global patent litigation strategies 
  • Preliminary injunctions and damages – what we know so far
  • Your guide to critical and fast-evolving case law 

The panel will be moderated by Naoise Gaffney, Of Counsel - UPC Director, Bristows. Michael will be joined by three other panelists: Margot Kokke, Legally Qualified Judge - Local Division, The Hague, Unified Patent Court; Ryan Lawlis, Vice President, RPX; Yvonne Lee, Director and Corporate Counsel, IP Investments, Parabellum Capital; and Andrew Yen, Chief IP Counsel, Panasonic.
