Arthur is a registered patent attorney with a background in electrical and computer engineering. He advises clients on all aspects of the patent system. His practice includes IP portfolio management, patentability, freedom-to-operate assessments, validity / infringement studies, and the preparation and prosecution of US and international patent applications, as well as strategic patent counseling. Arthur has experience with post-grant proceedings before the USPTO and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board as well as with patent litigation, including matters before the US International Trade Commission.

With broad technical experience, Arthur assists clients across a wide range of high-tech industries, including electrical systems, machine learning and AI, data analysis and visualization, communication and sensor systems, data acquisition, processor design, telecommunications, and video coding. Prior to joining Mintz, Arthur worked at a global semiconductor company, supporting client applications and system designs. He also collaborated with clients to develop and optimize consumer electronic devices.

Arthur earned his JD from the evening program at Northeastern University School of Law while working full time at Mintz as a Patent Agent. He also has a BS in computer engineering from Purdue University.

Arthur is based in the Boston office.
