Jabril Wilson is a corporate attorney who advises private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, strategic acquirers, founders, and privately held companies on complex transactions and corporate matters. His practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, growth equity transactions, and general corporate matters.
Jabril regularly represents clients in acquisitions, platform and add-on investments, strategic partnerships, and other complex transactions. He has experience guiding clients through all stages of the deal process, including transaction structuring, due diligence, negotiation of definitive agreements, closing mechanics, and post-closing integration and governance matters. His practice spans a variety of industries, including technology, software, life sciences, biotechnology, medical technology, financial services, and healthcare.
In addition to his transactional practice, Jabril is an advisor on corporate governance, entity formation and structuring, capitalization, and day-to-day corporate operations. He works closely with management teams and investors to develop practical solutions that balance legal risk with commercial objectives.
Before beginning his legal career, he led a microfinance initiative in Togo, partnering with local communities to improve access to capital and strengthen lending and repayment processes. He was recognized as a Global Law Scholar and Opportunity Scholar during law school and was a member of the Afro Scholars program for high-achieving law students from underrepresented backgrounds.
