Monica B. Towle concentrates her practice on employment litigation, representing employers in matters involving harassment, retaliation, discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour claims, and trade secret disputes. She also advises on restrictive covenant disputes, workplace compliance, and dispute avoidance, and prepares employee handbooks, agreements, and policies.
Prior to joining Mintz, Monica served as first chair in six jury trials and a bench trial, securing multiple defense verdicts and favorable judgments. She argued motions in state and federal court, conducted domestic and international depositions, and managed matters before the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and state agencies.
Monica earned her JD from the University of South Carolina School of Law and her BA from the University of South Carolina. She is Treasurer of the Massachusetts LGBTQ Bar Association’s board of directors and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch.
She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, California, and South Carolina, and is based in the Boston office.
