David represents clients in a broad range of commercial real estate matters. David focuses on the interplay between his clients’ business issues and real estate matters. His practice encompasses acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, and datacenter transactions. He also represents real estate funds and other real estate entities as borrowers in various types of financings, including CMBS loans. David has negotiated and executed complex office and retail leases, and has conducted transactions for commercial properties including plants, shopping malls, restaurants, medical facilities, and athletic venues.
David’s experience covers many disciplines within commercial real estate, including acquisitions and dispositions, leasing and the representation of borrowers in commercial loans. His real estate practice is both national and local in practice.
His experience includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating office and retail leases for major entities as well as conducting real estate transactions for a range of commercial properties, including plant facilities, shopping malls, restaurants, office buildings, and an athletic facility to which he also served as general counsel.
David has also represented real estate funds and other real estate entities as borrowers in various types of financing, including CMBS loans.
Prior to joining Mintz, David worked for another prominent New York law firm. Prior to that, David was a partner in a law firm in Chicago.
