
Riley focuses his practice on a broad range of corporate and securities law, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions and securities regulation. He counsels public and private companies across a variety of industries, including the technology and life sciences sectors.
While earning his JD, Riley worked as a Mintz Summer Associate for two summers. In law school, he was actively involved in the Business Law Society and the Federalist Society.
Prior to law school, Riley worked in the United States and Afghanistan as a senior counterintelligence analyst for a private defense contractor, where he led a team of analysts in conducting Special Operations intelligence assessments, supporting American and NATO operations in Afghanistan and throughout Southwest Asia, and regularly briefing senior coalition military officers on counterintelligence threats. Riley also served in the Army National Guard as an intelligence analyst, training soldiers and providing analytical support for military operations.
