Mintz advised Rocket Software on its acquisition of Geniez AI, a generative AI company specializing in mainframe technology.

The transaction adds Geniez AI’s team and expertise to Rocket Software as the company advances its use of agentic AI to help customers manage and modernize critical mainframe systems.

The Mintz deal team was led by Dean Zioze and Maarten Tuurenhout and included Matthew Tikonoff, Alexis Soares, and Michelle St. Francis. Additional support was provided by Timothy Santoli, Christopher Buontempo, Marguerite McConihe, Sam Cohen, Benjamin Ferrucci, Tom Pagliarini, Michelle Capezza, Laurence Schoen and Breton Leone-Quick.
