Mintz Leads On A Quartet of Back-To-Back Private Equity Closings

BOSTON –Mintz’s Private Equity team closed a quartet of transactions in the past month.

Dedicating a team of attorneys from across Boston, New York, and Washington, D.C., Mintz:

  • Represented Charlesbank Capital Partners in its acquisition of ImageQuix Holdings, LLC, a portfolio company of ASG Group which is owned by Alpine Investors. Members Matthew T. Simpson and Gregory Fine led the Mintz deal team which included Associates Katya Daniel, Jon Taylor, and Alexis Soares.
  • Represented Joink LLC, a DIF CIF II portfolio company owned by DIF Capital Partners, in its purchase of Computer Techniques Inc (CTI). Under the agreement, Joink will acquire 100% of CTI, an Illinois-based fiber optics business. Mr. Simpson led the team which included attorneys from Mintz’s Telecommunications, Real Estate, and Private Equity practices.
  • Represented Artemis Capital Partners in the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of McDanel Advanced Ceramic Technologies, LLC, a manufacturer of high-performance ceramic tubes, insulators, bearings, containers and other ceramic components for use in high temperature, high purity or corrosion resistance applications. Mr. Fine also led this transaction with Associates David Conway and Troy Nichols.
  • Represented the CEO and certain members of management in connection with the sale of the majority of the equity interests in Salary.com from H.I.G. to Accel-KKR. Member Andrew Bernstein led the deal team which included Member Alex Song and Associate Tom Pagliarini.
