Abbey focuses her practice on capital markets transactions, securities law and general corporate matters. She represents both issuers and investment banking firms in a broad range of public and private securities offerings, including initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, ATM offerings, registered direct offerings, PIPEs and deSPACs.

In addition to her transactional work, Abbey advises publicly traded companies on SEC reporting obligations, Nasdaq and NYSE listing requirements, corporate governance issues and other compliance matters. She focuses her practice on the life sciences and technology sectors.

Prior to joining Mintz, Abbey was a capital markets associate at a New York-based global law firm, where she had previously worked as a summer associate. Her role at the firm included advising public and private companies on cross-border transactions and general corporate matters.

In law school, Abbey served on the Virginia Law Review.
