Bria focuses her practice on corporate law matters related to private equity, governance, and regulatory compliance. She has experience representing fund sponsors in the structuring and formation of private equity funds and registered funds and advising clients on agreements, governance matters, and compliance issues. Bria represents companies across a variety of industries, including financial services.

Prior to joining Mintz, Bria was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Judge Susan D. Wigenton of the US District Court for the District of New Jersey. Earlier, she was a corporate associate at a global law firm, where she worked on private equity fund formations and related agreements, corporate governance matters, and regulatory compliance.

In law school, Bria served as a staff writer and training management editor of the Uniform Commercial Code Reporter-Digest and president of BC Law’s Black Law Students Association. She also volunteered with the BC Ninth Circuit Appellate Program clinic and led an international human rights pro bono service trip.
