Carly’s practice encompasses complex commercial, securities, and class action litigation as well as regulatory enforcement matters and internal investigations for financial services clients. She has experience drafting pleadings and briefs for federal and state court cases, handling all aspects of depositions, and conducting witness interviews. Her work for financial services clients includes assisting them with investigations by the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the New York Attorney General’s Office, and the CME Group. Carly also represents clients in the pharmaceuticals sector and a wide variety of other industries.

Prior to joining Mintz, Carly was a litigation associate and a summer associate at a New York-based international law firm, where she represented corporate and individual clients in litigation and regulatory matters.

While in law school, Carly served as a legal extern at the US Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division and a summer law intern at the Monroe County Public Defender’s Office in Rochester, New York. In law school, Carly served on the Syracuse Law Review and the executive board of the Moot Court Honor Society. She also worked as a student attorney in the school’s Children’s Rights & Family Law Clinic. She received numerous awards, including the International Academy of Trial Attorneys Award and the Robert W. Miller Trial Advocacy Award. In addition, Carly was part of teams that won regional trial competition awards from the New York State Bar Association and the American Association for Justice.
