Chiara represents investment banks and other financial institutions in their capacities as issuers, underwriters, and loan sellers in commercial mortgage-backed securitizations and other asset-backed securitizations.
Prior to joining Mintz, Chiara was an associate in the New York City office of a prominent financial services law firm, where she drafted, reviewed, and negotiated a wide variety of agreements, documents, and opinions required for public and private securitizations. In addition, Chiara managed transactions, reviewed annual filings by asset-backed issuers pursuant to the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and conducted due diligence on loan-level and property-level documents.
In law school, Chiara was associate managing editor of the Brooklyn Law Review.
