
Cyrus focuses his practice on corporate transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, private equity, private funds, and co-investments. He works with public and private companies across a variety of industries, including financial services and technology.
While earning his JD, Cyrus served as a legal extern for the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, where he conducted legal research and drafted memoranda, briefs, and regulatory proposals. He also worked as a law clerk at a New York law firm, drafting, amending, and filing equity purchase agreements, articles of merger, articles of incorporation, and limited liability operating agreements. Cyrus also contributed as a staff editor of the New York Law School Law Review and served as a research and teaching assistant.
Cyrus's pro bono work includes providing legal research and assistance to the Center for Reproductive Rights. Prior to Mintz, Cyrus volunteered for the ACLU Massachusetts and interned at the Massachusetts Fair Housing Center.
