Henrik is a registered patent agent with a background in electrical engineering. He focuses his practice on preparing and prosecuting patent applications, developing and managing IP portfolios, and analyzing third-party patent applications for litigation and licensing matters. He has extensive experience in drafting patents related to semiconductors, wireless communications, data mining, cloud computing, social networks, digital maps, health and wellness, and autonomous vehicle technology.

Prior to joining Mintz, Henrik served as a patent agent for a Virginia-based intellectual property law firm, where he prosecuted patents and managed patent portfolios for communications and semiconductor companies. Earlier, he spent eight years at Nokia in IP manager roles for the company’s patenting operations, services, and radio standards teams and as a patent engineer. He was previously an electrical engineer with Nokia and a telecommunications manufacturing company, where he helped design wireless communication devices and networks.
