Kati focuses her practice on corporate finance, venture capital, and emerging technology. In addition, Kati handles licensing and other corporate agreements, general corporate and securities matters, and corporate governance. She advises clients in a wide variety of industries, including technology and retail & consumer products. Kati was a Summer Associate at Mintz in 2017.

Kati maintains an active pro bono practice, in which she counsels clients in matters relating to asylum, immigration, and bankruptcy. She also provides legal assistance and business support to low-income entrepreneurs, nonprofit organizations, and sustainable businesses.

During law school, Kati served as a legal intern with an Oregon-based global sportswear and apparel company and its Boston subsidiary, where she reviewed licenses and buying agency agreements and worked on litigation and debt assignment issues related to a corporate restructuring.

Prior to attending law school, Kati was a senior consultant in the Strategy & Analytics department of a Fortune 100, global technology company. As a consultant, she redesigned business processes, engaged in an end-to-end CRM system implementation, and validated technology systems for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Kati applies her experience as a business consultant to her practice of law by considering both the legal and business implications of complex matters from her clients’ perspective.

During her time at Boston College Law School, she won the ABA Negotiation Competition, served as president of the Business and Law Society, and was a research assistant for Professor Diane M. Ring, assisting her with an article on tax leaks and the sharing economy.
