Nick is a seasoned litigator who concentrates his practice on the defense of complex litigation matters, including class action and mass tort litigations. He is well versed in developing and deploying creative defense strategies for Fortune 500 companies and other clients faced with the prospect of a mass tort or class action type suits. He has led and played key roles on national litigation teams defending manufacturers of various products in high-profile cases that have spanned scores of jurisdictions across the country. As a young litigator, he gained invaluable experience successfully defending a series of high profile product liability cases spanning across 25 federal and state jurisdictions.

During his time at Mintz, Nick has expanded his practice to include real estate litigation and defense of a publically traded technology company in class action suits alleging violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and California’s Invasion of Privacy Act. Exposure to the talented, diverse and accomplished litigators at Mintz is exactly what Nick has been looking for to elevate his career to the next level.

Prior to joining Mintz, Nick was an associate in the Los Angeles office of an international litigation and business law firm, where he focused his practice in the area of pharmaceutical and medical device products liability litigation, including representation of many top tier companies in cutting-edge litigation. Most notably, Nick was instrumental in the defense of high-profile manufacturers in “bet-the-company” litigation involving thousands of claims coordinated in state and federal courts across the country. He also gained invaluable experience handling a wide variety of general litigation matters, from initial pleadings to fact and expert discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial in both state and federal court.

Earlier, while working with other law firms, Nick defended a variety of aerospace companies against cases involving major air disasters, toxic torts, and personal injuries related to a variety of airport incidents. His clients included aircraft engine manufacturers, component part manufacturers, and aviation service companies.

Nick is also dedicated to providing underserved communities with access to legal services. Through his pro bono practice, he has assisted many underprivileged families to navigate California adoption proceedings. When he is not working, Nick enjoys exploring Southern California with his wife, Heather, and their French Bulldog, Nala.
