T.O. is an accomplished first-chair trial lawyer and appellate advocate focused on complex patent litigation, with an emphasis on disputes involving life sciences innovations. He has more than two decades of experience representing leading pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and diagnostics companies in high-stakes matters before federal District Courts, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

T.O. leads teams in competitor litigation involving Hatch-Waxman and other patent disputes and provides strategic advice to pharmaceutical companies on how to leverage the existing statutory and legal framework to advance their commercial goals.

Nationally recognized for his advocacy, T.O. has been repeatedly shortlisted by LMG Life Sciences for “Hatch-Waxman Litigator of the Year” and “Appellate Litigator of the Year: Intellectual Property.” He is ranked among the top-performing litigators in Patexia’s ANDA Litigation Intelligence Report.
