Whitney represents developers, homebuilders, institutional investors, and lenders in complex real estate transactions, with an emphasis on acquisitions, dispositions and financings. Her practice involves a wide range of asset types, including industrial parks, office buildings, shopping centers, apartment complexes, data centers, and land for commercial and residential development.
Prior to joining Mintz, Whitney was an associate with a Los Angeles real estate law firm. Her experience included working on the disposition of a portfolio of industrial buildings for $590 million and the acquisition of a portfolio of data centers for $3.6 billion. In addition, Whitney has worked on joint ventures and restructurings and assisted in financings, including representing a lender in connection with a $1 billion loan for the acquisition of a sports venue and representing a borrower in connection with loans made for hotel developments. She also has significant experience conducting diligence.
While earning her law degree at USC, Whitney was managing editor of the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice. In her free time, Whitney enjoys competing as an equestrian athlete in the show-jumping discipline.
