Mandy’s practice encompasses a wide variety of litigation matters, including complex business litigation, government investigation and regulatory matters, zoning and land use disputes, products liability litigation, insurance coverage issues, and appellate matters. As part of her litigation practice, Mandy also has experience in representing and counseling employers with respect to noncompete agreements (enforcement and defense) and defending against wage and hour class actions.

As part of the firm’s E-Discovery & Records Management Practice, she has assisted in drafting records management policies and document retention schedules for a variety of clients, including retailers, nonprofits, and those in the financial services, pharmaceutical, and life sciences industries. In this role, Mandy also advises clients on compliance with state and federal laws and regulations with respect to the management and retention of records, and she has extensive experience drafting litigation holds for clients and coordinating e-discovery efforts.

An active contributor to the firm’s commitment to pro bono work, Mandy and a team of Mintz Levin lawyers and co-counsel recently negotiated a $132 million settlement of a lawsuit regarding Mississippi’s use of post-Katrina federal emergency funds. She also focuses her pro bono efforts on victims of domestic violence by providing them with assistance in obtaining restraining orders against their abusers.

While in law school, Mandy was a legal intern at the Massachusetts Office on Disability, where she assisted in advocating on behalf of individuals with disabilities to combat violations of their civil rights under various housing, employment, education, and public accommodations laws. Mandy also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Joyce London Alexander, magistrate judge of the US District Court of Massachusetts.
