Colleen’s Intellectual Property practice focuses on patent prosecution. She has experience preparing patent applications in a variety of technologies, including power systems, communications systems and networks, internet technologies, mechanical technologies, and medical devices. Colleen prosecutes patent applications within the US and in foreign jurisdictions. In addition, she counsels clients on patent portfolio strategies.

Prior to joining Mintz Levin, Colleen was an Associate in the Intellectual Property practice group at a national law firm. She also served as both a Patent Agent and Patent Counsel in the Finance & Control Legal Affairs unit of Schneider Electric, where she became the Patent Counsel for two of Schneider Electric’s Global Business Units.

During her graduate studies, Colleen was a student researcher at Tufts University Thermal Analysis of Materials Process Laboratory investigating micro-mechanics response of cyclical thermal material processing. She also conducted organic geo-chemical research focused on dispersion of organophosphates in Hudson River seasonal flow at Darrin Fresh Water Institute.
